Mac-a-Bee is a family owned business. Two or three times a year owners, Meredith and George Chambers, travel to the Southwest to find the goods we display in the store. If you know them, you know their life-on-the-road adventure stories are as precious as the Southwestern treasures they bring home.

While the folks are having all the fun traveling, the rest of the family does all the hard work at the store: Amber (daughter) manages and is the source of all knowledge; Lita (daughter-in-law) handles advertising, the web site, smoozing and cashiering; Guy (son) is the head fudge maker, we call him Candyman (and eater - don't tell) and trailer hauler; Matt (son) adds scooters, motorcycles and four-wheelers to the store's offerings; Al (Meredith's brother - oh Lord, the brother-in-law) helps with accounting and technical issues; and the five grandchildren pitch in now and then too. Besides the family, Mac-A-Bee has some great employees: Dolly, salesperson and cashier; Judy, part-time salesperson and cashier; and Shawn, mechanic and maintenance (he does it all).
